Modern Sports Hub and Hotel Complex for Hockey Training in Riga
This concept design proposes a comprehensive sports complex and hotel in Riga, specifically tailored to serve as a high-quality training base for hockey players. The core of the facility is the modern Ice Arena, complemented by additional sports infrastructure and an integrated hotel to house athletes and staff.
A central design focus was to achieve energy efficiency by pioneering an integrated engineering system. This clever solution uses the heat generated by the ice rink’s cooling equipment to warm the swimming pool, demonstrating an innovative approach to sustainable sports architecture. The entire development occupies a 3-hectare site.
